connectedEDU.org is a new and innovative learning concept developed by Dan Mahowald, a Pacific Northwest based business executive.  It is about connecting modern education to the real world.
The program was initially launched on May 9th, 2005 at Cedarcrest High School just outside of Seattle, WA. Seven Cedarcrest high school students spent a day away from campus visiting with executives from Microsoft and T-Mobile. The program’s mission is to develop the next generation of global leaders; leaders that will have a profound impact on our collective future.

The program and curriculum connects outstanding high school students to the business community and teaches them to interact, conduct value exchanges, and learn from the world’s top leaders. They will study and interact with great Fortune 100 companies like Microsoft, Nike, intel, PACCAR, Weyeraeuser, Micron, Starbucks, Boeing, and T-Mobile.
Our journey is about caring, about leveraging courage, about reaching deep inside ourselves and harnessing that part of us that says “take action”. Somewhere locked inside us lives a set a values and the desire to change the world we live in.  A journey that is a worthwhile one is never easy.  connectedEDU is no exception.  If your ambition in life is to merely get by, operate as part of the status quo - this program is not for you.
